Gosh I forgot all about this blog.
Well, here we are all packed up for camping with grands for spring break. We leave in the morning to meet the first 2 grands.

Febuary sewing

I started embroidering Mardi Gras badge reels in February. Sold quite a few.

Early one morning I dumped out a bag of fabric scraps, I noticed a lot of long narrow scraps so started matching them and dug out the Paula pants pattern from Farbenmix. Traced off the 140 size. Found some Farbenmix ribbon, some purple chenille rick-rack, some light pink chenille rick-rack. Embroidered a few peace signs, and TA DA there was a very cool pair of pants, all made from scraps :)

Right now I'm working on a Modkid Penny t-shirt with matching leggings. The leggings are from the book Clothes Kids Love. Leggings are done, they took all of 15 minutes to make. Pictures later.

the next thing I made, ....

Next I made 2 dresses for my 8 year old granddaughter. First I made the Modkid Maya dress, then the Modkid Penny dress. I was very disappointed with the Michael Miller knit fabric. It shrunk badly. I'm glad I washed it twice

In January I made some grey velour PJ's for DH. I used a Kwik Sew pattern
